At this year's scholarship gala, featuring keynote speaker Soledad O'Brien, the members will celebrate 30 years of service, advocacy and mentorship. In addition to awarding scholarships to area students, we will present the Asante Award to veteran journalists, Bob Ray Sanders and Clarice Tinsley as our way of saying "thanks" for over 30 years of journalistic excellence and service to mankind. Please join us for the celebration!

Support the DFWABJ Scholarship Fund. The winner receives Coach Travel for two on American Airlines to anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean. Travel must be completed by June 25, 2012. Winner will be selected on December 4, 2011 at Harwood 609 Restaurant, Dallas, Texas and notified within 24 hours. Proceeds benefit the DFW/ABJ Scholarship Fund.
